Ranma 1/2 Live Action Coming Soon

Remember back then when they had an Anime series called Ranma 1/2? Of course everyone does! Coinciding with other popular Anime titles during the 90′s in North America, Ranma 1/2 was sort of an odd ball Anime show that sort of pushed the limits of acceptable animations during that time period (for Americans). In short, the anime involved having a boy turn into a girl whenever he touches cold water. As peculiar as it seems, the anime was a success with viewers. Now after all those years, a two-hour live action television adaption of Ranma ½ will be airing on NTV (Japanese Channel) on December 9, 2011. It will tell the original story centering around Akane, with Kento Kaku and Natsuna Watanabe playing male and female Ranma respectively. Unfortunately, there isn’t an English subtitle/dub version yet, but stay tune! In the meantime, Check out the trailer below!
