The Japanese people definitely knew Spiderman was going to be a smash hit, sooner or later; maybe a bit too later but they had the right intentions in also making a Spiderman show back in the 70′s. Check out this old classic intro video of the original Japanese Spiderman. He has everything the American Spiderman had, ability to climb walls, super human strength, tights, a catchy intro tune and a megazord!? Wait, a what? Yes, a big giant robot that likes to transform into something else and flys! The Japanese love them giant robots.
