Kollaboration Los Angeles 11 – 2011 Featuring G.NA

We thought we would update everybody on G.NA special appearance/performance at Kollaboration this Saturday at the Nokia Live Theater! This is definitely a treat for us all! Also there is an after party for everybody just a few blocks down at Jloungue in Downtown. Here are the updated images

Coming this November 5, 2011 is Kollaboration Los Angeles 11, the finale for the year! This will definitely be one event nobody would want to miss. If you have never heard of Kollaboration (We frown upon you), they are a nonprofit organization running one of the largest and longest competition showcase for Asian talent throughout North America; spanning across the United States to Canada. This special event in Los Angeles is being held at the Nokia Theater in Downtown L.A, the biggest venue ever for Kollaboration Los Agneles; with top local talents performance by Ensemble Memo, singer-songwriter Clara C, and comedian Paul “PK” Kim.

This year’s competition involves local and international API talent for the grand prize of $2,000, as well as the audience choice prize of $1,000.

This year’s line-up
- afterschoolspecial: An alternative band based out of San Diego known for their eclectic blend of rap, rock, and alternative music.
- Andrew Figueroa Chiang and the Blazing Rays of the Sun: A Los Angeles based rock band specializing in earnest performances, energetic arrangements, and big harmonies.
- Dawen: A Los Angeles based singer/songwriter and winner of Kollaboration Acoustic 4.
- Emanon Dance Crew: High school students from all over Ventura County that inspire the youth to share the same passion on the dance floor.
- Inch Chua: A singer/songwriter hailing from Singapore who recently made her U.S. debut at the South by Southwest Music Festival.
- Monsters Calling Home: A Los Angeles based band that describes their off-the-wall sound as “gangster folk oriental”.
- Noel Kunz: Two-time World Championship Yo-Yo Artist and up-and-coming elite entertainer.
