F.I.R. sets out on a brave new quest for the fairyland in their 2011 new album Atlantis! The mythical lost civilization is not only a utopian state in Plato’s written accounts, but it also represents the music ideals the Taiwan pop/rock band has been searching for. For their sixth album, they carefully picked the best 10 songs from nearly a hundred demos they’ve written in the last year. The first plug to come off the album is the inspiring tent-pole track “Atlantis” which has an Irish folk sound to it. Composed by Real Huang with lyrics penned by Ian Chen, the song describes F.I.R.’s undaunted determination to set sail for their dreams.
