VIFF ’11 – Vietnamese International Film Festival 2011

One of the most exciting eight-day events taking place here in Southern California will be the Vietnamese International Film Festival! Presented by the Vietnamese American Arts & Letters Association (VAALA) and Vietnamese Language & Culture (VNLC), VIFF continues to showcase films created by Vietnamese filmmakers. The mission of VIFF is to support, celebrate, and project a diversity of visions and voices from filmmakers of Vietnamese descent and films by, for, and about the Vietnamese people and culture. The festival will be held on April 7 – 10 and 14 – 17 at UCLA, UCI, and the Bowers Museum. More information on this event can be found on their website.
In addition to that, VIFF will be presenting a Kick-Off Red Carpet Party/Fundraiser tomorrow in Orange County! Details are as follows…

Admission Fees: $7 with student ID and $10 without (purchased at the door)
