LunarFest Riverside – Lunar New Year Festival 2011

If you have lived in Southern California for awhile, every festival or event seems to occur in either Orange County or Los Angeles County, leaving many other cities/counties unnoticed. Now, for the first time ever, Riverside County is hosting their first Lunar New Year festival in the heart of Downtown, Riverside!

For many people that do not venture down into the Inland Empire, Downtown Riverside is absolutely stunning; and a historic area of all of Southern California. During Christmas session, the Mission Inn and surround buildings are lit up with lights that truly makes downtown Riverside a magical place to be. Now we get to see the entire area decorated for the Lunar New Year! Although they might not be as large as the festivals in Orange and Los Angeles County, this event might be something you do not want to miss.

Time: 10am – 6pm
Fee: Free Admission
Location: Downtown Riverside, California (between the areas of Mission Inn Ave & Market St)

They will have Fashion show, Live Performances, Fireworks, Food, Music, Arts and Cultural Display and Tea Pavilions.
