Lunar New Year Festival in Los Angeles

The Lunar New Year (Chinese New Year) would not be what it is without an official parade! If you are actually looking for information online for the parade in Los Angeles, you would probably have a little difficulty searching for. Luckily, I did all the searching for everybody! (Pat on the back). The festival is actually called the Golden Dragon Parade and Festival, which takes place in Chinatown in the city of Los Angeles! This is probably one of the biggest parade and festival in Southern California and if you are in the area, you should make plans to attend this parade.

You are probably thinking, “What about the other parades and festival in the other cities?” Luckily for everybody, Los Angeles likes to be fair and humble to everybody, therefore, they made this festival a week after all the other ones on February 5th!

Location: Downtown Los Angeles, China Town
Parade Route: Hill Street at Temple toward Bernard. Right on Bernard, right on Broadway back to Broadway & Temple.
There is Free Parking at Dodger Stadium in Lot 13 & 14 with Free Shuttle!
