A comic convention has made its way to the Los Angeles area but this is not your average comic convention! The masterminds behind this incredible event are siblings Regina and Mario Carpinelli. Born and raised in Southern California, the Carpinelli siblings have decided to put together a convention (along with help from two close friends, Klaus Moeller and Shelle Mannion) that not only welcomed the people in the industry and hardcore fans but also to welcome those who simply just like it or want to see what a comic convention is like.
Comikaze Expo 2011 will consist of a variety of genres for all sorts of fans. Whether you like comics, sci-fi, horror, gaming, anime, it will all be there just for you!Guest of honors including Stan Lee (if you don’t know who he is… /facepalm), Elvira the Mistress of the Dark (this will be her LAST con! Check out her interview with GCD.), and Jhonen Vasquez *screams like a fan girl*! Also, like many other conventions, there will be cosplay, gaming tournaments, lots of exhibitors, and much much more! You don’t want to miss out!
